One tester just pointed out that ChronoWall's icon can disappear from the taskbar. This usually happens if explorer restarts uncleanly.

ChronoWall can only have one instance of itself running at a time. If an unclean restart happens with explorer, this can result in a state where the software can no longer be started or upgraded. In addition, since the icon is missing, it can't be stopped.

If this happens to you, please run the following command to stop ChronoWall (you may need to run it as an Administrator):
'taskkill /f /im:chronowall.exe' (without quotes)

If you are upgrading and you are encountering this issue, please uninstall the previous version before installing the new version. Your settings will not be erased if you uninstall.

In the mean time, I will be working on how to deal with the disappearing icon issue.

This has been fixed and will be available in RC2.
